OBJECTIVE

A Progressive co-educational English medium and Residential School, has the aim of providing quality education, environmental consciousness, value oriented approach, competency in English language and above all to achieve the objective of all round development of personality.

In imparting education, the school aims to guide the students through a system beyond pure academic achievement into development of the total personality. The focal point in this development process is the inculcation of attitudes that lead the child to unfold naturally into a well-balanced individual, who will effectively meet the challenges of the world, as well as contribute responsibly to global growth;

OUR CHARTER

 

Eklavya Model Residential School, Nichar is co-educational school primarily for the tribal children of Kinnaur district.

 

  • We envisage identification and development of talented bright and gifted children   predominantly from tribal and rural area who are denied good educational opportunities.
  • Objectives of quality education are sought to be fulfilled through effective academic, co-curricular and adventure activities, physical education, reasonable level of competency in   languages.
  • We aim at the focal points for improving quality of education through sharing of experiences and facilities with consistent interaction with local community and helping these   institutions to develop as centers of academic excellence.
  • Provide reservation of seats for girls – 50%.
  • Organize Parent Teacher Council and conduct their periodical meetings.
